Why response speed decides more sales than price does
A customer interested in a specific car rarely enquires with only one dealership. By the time a team gets to a message that arrived after closing, or during a busy Saturday, the customer has often already had a useful reply from somewhere else.
This isn't a reason to panic about speed for its own sake — a fast but useless reply doesn't help anyone. It's a reason to make sure the first reply, whenever it happens, actually answers what the customer asked: is it available, what condition is it in, can I view it.
That's the specific problem an AI-assisted first response solves: not replacing a salesperson's judgement, but making sure nobody waits hours for someone to say 'yes, still available, when would you like to view it.'
